Tottenham Hotspur attacker is staying put.

Christian Eriksen is staying at Tottenham Hotspur after all.
The Danish midfielder’s future had been uncertain ever since early summer with BBC Sport reporting his desire to leave the club.
Big offers were not forthcoming, but the lack of clarity over Eriksen’s future cast a shadow over Tottenham’s start to the season.
Spurs started Eriksen in the recent North London derby and he repaid the team with a goal in a 2-2 draw.
Eriksen’s contract runs out next summer and he could walk away for free.
This is clearly a concern, but Tottenham can focus now on trying to get him to renew his deal without the distraction of the European transfer window being open.

Back in June there seemed to be little chance of Eriksen staying. His quality is undeniable, and it seemed likely one of Europe’s big guns would come in.
Instead they focused elsewhere, or were simply just too reluctant to want to deal with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Eriksen has a big decision to make with regards to a new contract, but for now, supporters are simply glad to be have got through Monday with him staying put.
