Tottenham are expected to add a central midfielder to their squad this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly added another name to their central midfield shortlist this summer in the form of Celta Vigo maestro Stanislav Lobotka – and Spurs fans are excited at the prospect of landing the Slovakian.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Spurs are interested in the 23-year-old midfielder but face competition from the likes of Italian giants Inter Milan and Napoli.

It is believed that Lobotka, who joined Celta from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland last summer, has a release clause of £44million inserted into his contract – which expires in five years’ time.
The 11-time Slovakia international has come onto Spurs radar after an excellent debut campaign in Spain, in which he featured in every single one of Celta’s La Liga outings.

Though he failed to score, his performances have generated huge praise for his workmanlike efforts at the base of Celta’s midfield, as well as becoming renowned for his intricate array of passing.
Tottenham fans reacted to the news that their club was interested in Lobotka, and although many are unsure over just how good he is, some are apparently clued up on the midfielder and are desperate to see him in north London.
