Spurs have been linked with a whole host of defenders this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Atalanta’s Brazilian defender Rafael Toloi after an excellent campaign with the Italian side – but Spurs fans are unsure over signing the centre-back.
The 27-year-old was an integral part of an Atalanta side that defied expectation this season to finish in a lofty seventh place in Italy’s top tier.

Sport Mediaset claim Spurs are interested in signing Toloi this summer, with Toby Alderweireld’s future still in doubt with only a year remaining on his contract in north London.
A Brazil youth international, Toloi scored three goals and turned provider with a further four assists, as well as helping Atalanta keep 11 clean sheets during his 31 league and cup appearances.

Spurs already boast Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier, Juan Foyth and Cameron Carter-Vickers without Alderweireld, but the form of Toloi has seemingly been noticed by Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham fans reacted to the news their club are interested in Toloi, who has two years remaining on his contract with Atalanta. But the majority of fans are unsure over signing the player, one supporter asking: “Is he better than Wimmer?”
