Kessie has been linked with a move to Spurs this month.

Tottenham Hotspur are on red alert after a report claimed that AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie will leave the San Siro if the Italian outfit do not qualify for the Champions League – and Spurs fans are excited.
Kessie, 22, joined AC Milan in the summer of 2017 on a two-year loan deal, that sees Milan have an obligation to complete a permanent deal in the summer for around £19.5million from Atalanta.
But it is believed that the 27-time Ivory Coast international is already cutting a frustrated figure under Gennaro Gattuso, with Milan currently sitting way down the Serie A table in fifth place.
Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claim Kessie will look to leave Milan in the summer if they do not finish in the top four of Serie A and qualify for Champions League football – and Tottenham are amongst the mentioned possible suitors.
Spurs are believed to be on alert alongside Premier League rivals Chelsea. Paris Saint-Germain are keen but are said to be struggling with financial fairplay, while Kessie is not interested in a move to the Chinese Super League.

The report claims interested parties would have to spend around £36million to land Kessie, who has scored eight goals and created eight more in 75 appearances from the base of Milan’s midfield.
Tottenham fans reacted to the report on Twitter in excited fashion, with many of the belief that Kessie would be an excellent signing for Mauricio Pochettino’s side – especially with Mousa Dembele’s contract set to expire in June.
