Tottenham are yet to complete a signing this summer.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are reportedly closing in on the signing of Monaco magician Thomas Lemar this summer as he continues to shine with the French giants – and Spurs fans have reacted in utter frustration.
Spanish publication Cadena Ser claim the 22-year-old is very nearly a part of Diego Simeone’s squad, so much so that the La Liga side have reserved the number 10 shirt for him.

Lemar has been on the shortlist of multiple European heavyweights since his excellent 2016-17 campaign with Monaco that saw him score 14 goals and create 17 assists, as the French side won the Ligue 1 title.
Interest stemmed from England, but has since subsided after Lemar scored only three goals during 2017-18. French outlet Le 10 Sport claimed Spurs were attempting to make a late bid for Lemar in August 2017.

However, it seems as though Lemar’s future is finally sorted as he continues to prepare with France for the World Cup, with a move to Atletico and teaming up with Frenchman Antoine Griezmann on the cards.
Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter with frustration at missing out on Lemar, with some fans asking if the north Londoners will indeed complete any transfers this summer.
