Hugo Lloris was the hero for Tottenham Hotspur today.

Hugo Lloris hasn’t had a brilliant season with Tottenham Hotspur, but he came to his side’s rescue today.
Tottenham beat Leicester City 3-1 at Wembley to move back within five points of co-leaders Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
But Spurs had to work hard for the three points and Lloris intervened at a crucial time.
The France international, a World Cup winner last summer, brilliantly saved Jamie Vardy’s penalty to keep the score at 1-0 to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who swiftly doubled their lead through Christian Eriksen.
Moments after Eriksen’s goal, Lloris then denied Harvey Barnes in a one-on-one chance.
The former Lyon star hasn’t always inspired confidence among Lilywhites fans this season, but they were loving him this afternoon and here’s how they reacted:
Nobody doubted Lloris’s ability, because it’s been there for all to see for many years, but consistency has been a problem in recent seasons.
Spurs are back at Wembley next week for a first leg with Borussia Dortmund in the last 16 of the Champions League, and if the 32-year-old is in this kind of mood on that occasion then it’ll go a long way to boosting his side’s chances of progressing.
