The north London side were given a massive helping hand by opposition goalkeeper Artur Boruc. But Mauricio Pochettino’s men deserved their win and showed no mercy in the face of a shot stopper it was easy to feel sorry for.
Harry Kane netted a striker’s hat-trick and Tottenham looked comfortable in midfield.

Indeed, as Opta stats show, Christian Eriksen produced a masterful performance against the Cherries on Sunday. Of Tottenham’s eight chances created, the Dane made five of them.
The 23-year-old also registered one assist and completed 21 passes in the final third.
