Tottenham Hotspur have not won the top flight title since 1961.

Gary Neville suggested that Tottenham will not win the Premier League title this season, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the pundit’s comments.
Tottenham currently sit in third spot in the Premier League table, two points adrift of second placed Manchester City, and a further two behind league leaders Liverpool, although they have played a game more than the Reds.
And Neville made his feelings clear on the race for the Premier League title, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports:
“I woke up this morning to people saying Tottenham are title contenders again and I don’t think they are. I think if City had played yesterday, Liverpool had played today and Tottenham were on Monday Night Football, I don’t think we would even be talking about Tottenham as title contenders.”

Spurs deserve great credit for the manner in which they have kept themselves right in the mix for the league title, especially considering the fact that they have not signed a single player since January 2018.
Tottenham have also had to make do without some of their key players because of injuries in recent weeks, and many of the clubs fans took to Twitter, slating Neville’s comments regarding the Premier League title race…
