The England international pledged his future to Tottenham Hotspur by signing a new long-term deal today.

Tottenham star Dele Alli signed a new contract with the club today, one that runs until the summer of 2024, but Spurs fans noticed something concerning about the picture showing the 22-year-old signing his new deal.
Dele joined Spurs from MK Dons in January 2015, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of just £5 million, and he has gone on to be nothing short of an outstanding success, chalking up an impressive 48 goals and 41 assists in 153 appearances in all competitions.
Tottenham have made a habit of tying down their best players to long-term deals in recent years, with Mauricio Pochettino’s hand-shaking pose with his players becoming legendary amongst the internet meme world.
The Argentine was conspicuous in his absence today when Dele signed his new deal, however.
Some conspiracy theorists will suggest that it could be a sign that he is on his way out of the club, but in reality, it probably doesn’t mean anything untoward.

He wasn’t pictured with Harry Kane when the 25-year-old signed his new deal earlier this year after all.
Tottenham fans had there say on the matter nonetheless…
