The Spurs midfielder put in yet another superb display last time out in the Champions League away at Borussia Dortmund.
Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed their midweek exploits in the Champions League, completing their mission in the last 16 and seeing off Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate to reach the quarter-finals.
This weekend it’s back to Premier League action, in which Spurs head to Southampton seeking their first win in four league games, having drawn to North London rivals Arsenal last weekend and losing to Chelsea and Burnley prior to that.
Although their form might have wobbled a bit domestically, the win in Germany and Dele Alli’s return to training should hopefully provide the entire Tottenham contingent with a big boost as they seek to get one over on Mauricio Pochettino’s ex-employers.
Moussa Sissoko, a man reborn this season following his tricky start to life in the Tottenham ranks, produced yet another superb performance for the Lilywhites against Dortmund and he will be hoping to deliver once again during the trip to the south coast.
