Reo Griffiths continues to prove why he is one of the most highly-rated prospects coming through in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to urge Mauricio Pochettino to hand Reo Griffiths some kind of chance in the first-team as he proved his potential once again by scoring a hat-trick in Spurs’ under-18 side’s defeat to Norwich City on Wednesday.
Griffiths is unquestionably one of the brightest prospects coming through at Tottenham right now, and it would hardly be a surprise if a number of fans were starting to wonder if the club had uncovered the next Harry Kane, with the 17-year-old going into the clash with the Canaries having scored 19 goals in 17 U18 Premier League games.

While Spurs were beaten 5-3, Griffiths took his tally in the competition to 22 goals with a stunning hat-trick that would have undoubtedly sent a message to Pochettino that he is a player to keep a very close eye on.
His first goal came on the half-hour mark when he drilled a shot into the bottom corner, before he found his second from the penalty spot three minutes before the break.

The hat-trick was completed in some style as he found the top corner from outside the box. And the latest treble – only his second of the season in the league – prompted a number of Tottenham fans to take to social media to laud the youngster.
ESPN recently reported that he is yet to sign professional terms at Tottenham – and that RB Leipzig are monitoring his situation – and it appears that the Spurs fans not only want him tied down, but they also want to see a promotion towards the periphery of the first-team in the near future.
