The Sun claim that Andersen knows of Tottenham’s interest in him, but Paratici may look elsewhere because Lyon want £26million for Andersen.
It may not be that Tottenham can’t afford that, but more that they feel there is better value elsewhere in the transfer market.
That’s what some Tottenham fans think too, believing that Paratici needs to ‘do the right thing’ and spend the money on Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix instead of Andersen.
Others think that the price tag is reasonable for Andersen, urging Tottenham to get the deal done rather than move on to another target, with a real divide in opinion on the defender branded a ‘leader’.
