Tottenham Hotspur are expected to break attendance records next week when their Champions League campaign kicks off at Wembley.

The Mail report Spurs are confident they can beat their own attendance record of 75,000 which dates back in 1938.
Tickets went on general sale earlier this week, and are rapidly being snapped up.
Earlier this week Arsenal supporters had been mocking Spurs on social media for having to put the tickets out on general sale, implying this was because of a lack of appetite or small fanbase.
Now though with rickets getting harder and harder to come by, and reports in the media of record attendances, Spurs fans are feeling buoyant and have hit back at their detractors.
With Tottenham back in the Champions League for the first time in more than half a decade, interest is naturally peaking for their return to the competition.
Belief in Mauricio Pochettino’s strongly assembled team is high, and in a group with Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow, they will fancy their chances of qualifying in one of the top two spots.
Their real challenge is not the ticket sales, but ensuring that unlike Arsenal’s Champions League campaign at the stadium in the late 90s, they can adapt to the change of scenery and make the ground feel like a home atmosphere which helps the team.
