Tottenham Hotspur are lacking attacking options right now.

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action again on Thursday night when they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.

Having beaten the Blues 1-0 in the first leg of their Carabao Cup clash earlier this month, Spurs will now look to finish off the job tomorrow night.

It’s another trip to West London for Spurs, just days after they beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage with a last-gasp Harry Winks winner.

Spurs again head into a game with an attacking crisis; Harry Kane and Dele Alli are both out for two months with injury, and Son Heung-min is on international duty with South Korea.

Fernando Llorente flopped against Fulham with an own goal and a number of missed chances, and Lucas Moura is only just back from injury but may be forced to start up top.

Spurs are unlikely to dip into the transfer market, and whilst Kazaiah Sterling could step up, 16-year-old Troy Parrott is another youngster who could step up to the first team.

The Irishman has been in blistering form for Tottenham’s Under-18’s this season, hitting 11 goals in seven U18 Premier League outings this season, prompting some to call for him to be considered for the first team.

Spurs posted up a photo of players in training today, and some eagle-eyed Tottenham fans spotted Parrott in the background with first-team stars.

Fans then shared their excitement at seeing Parrott, believing that it’s ‘time to get excited’ with the teenager around the senior side, adding that it’s great to see him among such esteemed company whilst suggesting that he should be given a run out against Chelsea on Thursday.
