Chelsea dominated without looking as though they were going to score plenty. It was Antonio Rudiger’s header, after a mistake from Pierluigi Gollini, that handed Chelsea another win – and another clean sheet.
Spurs were lacklustre, bereft of ideas and Conte looked uninterested on the sidelines. From the moment Rudiger scored, it looked as if there was no belief Spurs could get themselves out of the mire they find themselves in.

The biggest gulf in class was most evident in the middle of the park. Harry Winks has earned his chance to start, featuring alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Both were busy, making tackles, but they lacked the control.
The ability to dictate the tempo, keep the ball, technicality of both Jorginho and Kovacic. The latter was sensational, with WhoScored claiming he successfully completed 80 of his 85 passes and making two tackles.
