Tottenham Hotspur fans have enough to worry about over Harry Kane right now – but it’s just got worse.
Manchester City have confirmed that Sergio Aguero is leaving the club this summer, with the announcement coming on Monday night.
The Argentinian will leave as a City legend, and the work will now start on finding a replacement for one of the club’s modern day icons.
Understandably, Kane is now being touted as a potential replacement – and fans now fear that he will end up heading to the Etihad Stadium.
Some Tottenham supporters have taken to Twitter since City’s announcement to share their fears that Kane will end up moving to the Etihad Stadium.
There are concerns that the timing of rumours about Kane leaving Spurs and now Aguero leaving City are no coincidence, with some already saying goodbye.
David Ornstein recently claimed that Kane would like to leave Tottenham in search of trophies, whilst Kane has suggested he will look at his situation this summer.
Whether City are prepared to splash the cash on Kane remains to be seen given Tottenham’s huge demands, but with City now seeking a new star striker, Kane will surely be on their radar.
