Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with almost every Serie A player this week, with Manuel Locatelli just one of the names mentioned.
Fabio Paratici became Tottenham’s new managing director of football last weekend, and the Italian media have taken that as open season for linking Serie A stars with moves to North London.
The likes of Domenico Berardi, Dusan Vlahovic and Nikola Milenkovic are just some of the names linked with Tottenham this week, and you can add Locatelli to the list.
Tottenham’s interest in Locatelli
Gazzetta Dello Sport have reported that Paratici wants to sign Locatelli for Tottenham having targeted him for Juventus before his move to England.
The Sassuolo star is attracting huge interest, and Paratici seemingly wants to pair Locatelli up with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in Tottenham’s midfield.
Italian international Locatelli boosted his profile with a superb performance against Switzerland at Euro 2020 last night, scoring twice in a 3-0 win.

Tottenham fans have their say
Even before those goals went in, Tottenham fans were absolutely buzzing about the rumours linking Locatelli with the club.
Some believe that Locatelli would be a ‘filthy’ signing for Tottenham alongside Tanguy Ndombele and Hojbjerg, even suggesting that a deal would be ‘insane’ and ‘exceptional’.
Others even begged Paratici to sign Locatelli for Tottenham, believing that he would really prove himself as a top recruiter if he pulled off this move.
