Tottenham Hotspur will face Stoke City at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing on social networking site Twitter whether or not manager Mauricio Pochettino should start Erik Lamela against Stoke City this weekend.
Spurs will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Stoke at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The North London outfit will head into the match against the Potters on the back of a 3-0 home victory over Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League.
Tottenham, though, are not in good form in the Premier League, having managed just a 1-1 draw with Watford away from home Vicarage Road last weekend.
Lamela came on as a late substitute against Watford last weekend, and Spurs have been discussing whether or not manager Pochettino should start the Argentina international against Stoke.
The 25-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is now fully fit after months on the sidelines.
The former River Plate star has been on the books of Spurs since the summer of 2013 when he joined from AS Roma for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25.7 million.
As reported by BBC Sport, Lamela was then Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas’s sixth signing of the 2013 summer.
