Sherwood had a successful spell as a coach in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy.

A interview with Tim Sherwood, the former Tottenham Hotspur player, coach and interim manager, has sparked a Twitter debate between a number of Spurs fans.
Sherwood was speaking to Sky Sports about a potential return to youth coaching – something the 49-year-old is keen to do, but only if it’s “the right opportunity”.

And his ideas as to how young footballers should be developed prompted @lilywhite_rose to call on Tottenham to give Sherwood another role in their academy – where he helped to produce first team players Harry Kane and Harry Winks, along with several others who have since moved on.
And some Spurs fans would be all for it…
Others however, not so much…
Sherwood left Tottenham four years ago, after being replaced as manager by Mauricio Pochettino.
And the former England international has only held one managerial position – with Aston Villa, whom he led to the 2015 FA Cup final – since then.
His last significant role was as Swindon Town’s director of football.
Should Tottenham bring back Sherwood?
