Tottenham produced one of the results of the Premier League campaign, after coming back from 2-1 down with seconds left – to win 3-2. Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to Harry Winks, who continues to shine.

The 25-year-old is being given a second chance at Tottenham under Conte, having been somewhat ostracised by Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo. He has started three of Tottenham’s last five league games.

On Wednesday night, Conte sprung somewhat of a surprise, in that he decided to combine three defensive-minded midfielders in Winks, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp – but it worked to full effect.

With Winks proving to be more progressive under Conte, and both Skipp and Hojbjerg bombing on either side of him – the England star was excellent. WhoScored say he produced four key passes on the night.

That is more than any of his teammates. He also completed 57 of his 62 passes, and obviously played in Harry Kane to cancel out Patson Daka’s opener. The no.8 was crucial to the win, as much as Steven Bergwijn.

What Tottenham fans think of Winks display against Leicester…

While the Netherlands ace will grab the headlines, Winks was brilliant. The £40million-rated midfielder (Times) is likely to be pushing towards first choice – when Conte has all players available to him.

Tottenham fans took to Twitter to discuss the rise of Winks and his much-improved form since the arrival of Conte. Many are stunned at just how good he was on Wednesday, before being subbed on 74 minutes.
