Tottenham face Newport County in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.

Fernando Llorente of Tottenham Hotspur warms up during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at Wembley Stadium on January 31, 2018 in London, England.

Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to finally qualify for the fifth round of the FA Cup as they face Newport County at Wembley on Wednesday night – and Spurs fans are desperate to see Fernando Llorente start.

Spurs equalised late on against Newport at Rodney Parade last time out, as Harry Kane bundled home an equaliser in the 82nd minute following Padraig Amond’s opener for Michael Flynn’s side.

Now, the two sides are set to go head to head for a second time to determine a winner at Wembley, with Spurs more than favourites to progress into the next round due to home advantage.

The winner of the tie progresses into the last 16 to face League One strugglers Rochdale, with Spurs likely to be confident of a decent run in this season’s FA Cup as they have so far avoided any sides in the Championship or the Premier League.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter in an attempt to convince Mauricio Pochettino to start under-fire striker Fernando Llorente, as he continues to struggle in the shadow of Harry Kane.

One fan stated that he expects him to do well as he is “riddled with experience”.
