Tottenham Hotspur could fall further down the Premier League table if they suffer a defeat against Everton over the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are elated that Danny Rose will miss the trip to Everton at the weekend because of suspension.
Left-back Rose has been one of the Spurs players who has come under fire from his supporters this season as his performances have been pretty abject.
During Tottenham’s previous Premier League campaign, when they lost at Anfield, Rose picked up his fifth yellow card in nine matches – it now means he will be suspended for Sunday’s trip to Goodison Park.
Given Rose’s form recently, and the fact that Mauricio Pochettino still continues to select him, Spurs fans are glad that Rose’s name won’t be on the teamsheet come Sunday.
There are some who are optimistic and hopeful that summer signing Ryan Sessegnon might feature, but the fact that Rose won’t play is seemingly a good sign for the Spurs faithful.

Despite producing poor display’s for his club, Rose has still been earning calls up to Gareth Southgate’s squad and has even been starting ahead of Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell for England.
Nonetheless, on Sunday, Pochettino will be hoping his team can move out of the bottom half of the table, but defeat against Marco Silva’s men could see them fall as low as 16th, that’s if other results go against them also.
Here is a selection of Spurs supporters on Twitter expressing their relief that Rose will not be playing against Everton:
