Danny Rose still has a role to play at Tottenham Hotspur it seems.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Danny Rose is a ‘very important player’ for him.
Rose nearly left Spurs on deadline day but the North Londoners rejected a £14 million offer from Watford [Sky Sports].
According to The Sun, the Tottenham left-back had even arrived at the Hornets’ training ground to complete the move.
Pochettino had previously left Rose out of his pre-season tour last week and the writing seemed on the wall for the former Leeds defender.
But speaking ahead of Saturday’s visit of Aston Villa in their Premier League opener, the Argentine managed, who signed left-back Ryan Sessegnon on deadline day, confirmed that Rose had a role to play yet.
He told Football London: “Danny is, after five years playing with me, he is a very important part of my plan.”
Rose, who joined the club a decade ago, is a very popular player among Lilywhites fan, some of whom rejoiced over what Pochettino has confirmed:
