Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez was great at the weekend, but not so impressive last night.

Davinson Sanchez has won a lot of plaudits since becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s record signing back in August for £42 million.
The Colombian has embraced the challenge of the Premier League and was outstanding against Arsenal at the weekend in a 1-0 win.
But there have been a couple of shaky moments too, the game at Swansea for instance; and last night in the Champions League he looked nervous against Juventus.

It did not help him playing alongside right-back Serge Aurier, who had a terrible game and gave away a penalty.
Sanchez was hesitant and mistimed challenges as experienced forward Gonzalo Higuain really tested the Tottenham defence.
The Argentine scored two but could have had four goals, missing once from the spot.
Tottenham’s attackers bailed out their defenders and 21-year-old Sanchez will look to learn from the experience.
His early performances at Sours were helped by having Toby Alderweireld alongside him and the hope from Tottenham’s perspective is that the Belgian will be fit for the second leg at Wembley.
Here is a look at how Spurs fans reacted on Twitter to Sanchez’s performance…
