Tottenham fans are convinced that Mauricio Pochettino was taking a closer look at either Richarlison or Abdoulaye Doucoure after he was pictured watching Watford’s emphatic win over Chelsea at Vicarage Road on Monday night.
The Hornets picked up their first win under Javi Gracia as they stormed past the Premier League champions, clinching a 4-1 win that will leave Antonio Conte surely facing a number of questions about his future at Stamford Bridge.

One interested spectator at the game turned out to be Spurs boss Pochettino. And his presence at the game sparked a lot of debate amongst the Tottenham fans on social media.
Spurs do not face Chelsea or Watford until April, and that fact has left many of the fans on Twitter feeling certain that Pochettino was scouting one or two of Watford’s key men as they seemingly lay down some early plans for the summer.

The two names that were mentioned the most were Richarlison and Doucoure. The London Evening Standard reported in November that the former was on Spurs’ radar after a brilliant start to life in the Premier League. And while he did not put in his best performance against the Blues, he is a player that the Spurs fans seem to like.
Meanwhile, Doucoure was sensational against Chelsea, providing two assists in the emphatic win and really stamping his authority on the midfield battle. One fan even suggested that he could be the ideal replacement for Mousa Dembele.
