It certainly seems though that Spurs are getting closer to landing the Lyon midfielder.
And fans are excited about his potential partnership with key man Moussa Sissoko.
Sissoko moved to Spurs for £30 million three seasons ago and is coming off the back of his best season yet for the club.
Pairing the French midfielders together will make Tottenham even harder to beat, with Ndombele’s performances for Lyon last season winning rave reviews.
Ndombele is 22 and Sissoko 29, and bringing the Lyon man in will help the current Spurs fan favourite out a lot.
