Tottenham Hotspur allegedly rejected the opportunity to sign the Barcelona winger on loan.
According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham turned down the chance to sign Barcelona winger Malcom on loan this month, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
Tottenham seem to be in desperate need of further attacking reinforcements, with Harry Kane and Dele Alli expected to be out until at least early March.
Spurs have also sanctioned Georges-Kevin Nkoudou’s loan exit to Monaco, according to a report from BBC Sport, so passing up on the opportunity to sign Malcom seems to be a strange decision to say the very least.
Perhaps Pochettino has other irons in the fire, but in reality, Tottenham will not sign anyone for the second consecutive transfer window.
With that in mind, it really is quite remarkable that they are still in with a genuine chance of winning the Premier League title.
And many of their supporters are not happy.
