Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter want Bas Dost signed.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter would like to see Mauricio Pochettino sign Bas Dost this summer.
The 29-year-old and three other high-profile players are in the process of leaving Sporting Lisbon [ESPN] after rescinding their contracts with the Portuguese giants.
Dost, who hit 27 goals in 29 starts last season, therefore could be available on a free contract this summer, and Tottenham supporters would love him at North London.
Spurs have tried and failed to sign an adequate back-up for Harry Kane in each of the past two summer transfer windows, with Vincent Jansson and Fernando Llorente flattering to deceive.

With that in mind, signing a striker is probably a priority for Pochettino over the coming months, and fans of the North Londoners like the look of Dost.
Dost obviously has an extremely healthy goals-to-game ratio, but that isn’t concrete evidence over his capacity to be far better than Janssen or Llorente.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Janssen, his fellow Netherlands international, also recorded a 27-goal domestic season in the Eredivisie and yet he is clearly nowhere near good enough to cover someone of Kane’s ability.
