The Tottenham Hotspur defender was chosen ahead of Vincent Janssen.

Tottenham have called Juan Foyth up in place of Mousa Dembele for their Champions League squad, according to UEFA’s official website, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news.
Vincent Janssen, however, will miss out.
Tottenham have an incredibly tough test against Borussia Dortmund on the horizon, and they will need to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of progressing through to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Mauricio Pochettino will be praying that he has Harry Kane and Dele Alli back and available for selection, at least for the second-leg.

And Spurs fans seem to be split on the decision, taking to Twitter to air their opinions…
