Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the club are interested in signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United.
What’s the story?
The Daily Star reported late last night (9pm) that Tottenham are interested in signing Martial from Premier League rivals United in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are looking for £50 million as transfer fee for the France international.
However, Spurs could find it tough to match the £250,000-per-week salary that the 25-year-old gets at United now.
The report has added that if the former Premier League champions decide to move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, then the ex-AS Monaco star could be part of the deal.

As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are open to the prospect of Martial joining the North London club.
Well, some of them at least.
Martial is not exactly a consistent goalscorer, but you have to consider the fact the United man has often been deployed out on the wide and not as a central striker.
However, that versatility could help make Martial a key plyer at Spurs, if indeed he joins the North London club.
The France international has pace and technique as well.
Martial has scored 55 goals in 167 league appearances for United so far in his career.
