Tottenham Hotspur’s strong recent run came to a halt this weekend at Turf Moor.

Spurs were beaten 2-1 by Burnley after conceding a late goal to Ashley Barnes.

The defeat spiked some of the recent optimism at Spurs, denting their title challenge.

One supporter took it particularly badly.

The fan called BBC 606 and said it was time for manager Mauricio Pochettino to leave the club.

This is despite the strong steps forward Spurs have taken since his appointment in 2014, and lack of investment over the past 12 months.

The caller said he feels Pochettino is showing no sign of being able to crack his trophy drought with the club, with no silverware to show for his achievements.

606 host Robbie Savage was not impressed, and argued Pochettino’s case, having built Tottenham into a title challenger.
