Tottenham reportedly failed to sign Liverpool ace.

Liverpool ace Sadio Mane is in the form of his life and is getting the press attention his performances deserve.
Mane has netted 11 goals in his last 11 games and will be looking to keep up his ratio against Tottenham Hotspur in Liverpool’s next Premier League match.
Tottenham Hotspur reportedly came close to signing Mane before he signed at Anfield.
The Times reported Mane even visited Tottenham’s training ground and met with Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs could not close a deal, and it has seemed costly ever since.

Even with Mane netting twice against Spurs the following season and scoring in the Champions League final last year, Tottenham’s failure to sign him has never seemed as impactful as right now.
Liverpool are flying high competing for the title, while Tottenham are scrapping for the top four.
Mane has scored 17 league goals already this season.
Put him in Tottenham’s team, and it is not inconceivable that the two teams would swap positions.
Tottenham’s full-backs will have their work cut out defending Mane at Anfield on March 31.
