Tottenham Hotspur face losing Christian Maghoma, but his brother is already thriving in the club’s academy.

Tottenham Hotspur talent Christian Maghoma is on his way out of the club after his dad told reporters last month he is looking for a new side.
He went on trial with FC Twente as he prepares for his Tottenham contract to run down. His father Desmond Maghoma told Twente Insitethat he hopes to soon settle on a decision.
Maghoma, 20, has been a regular for Tottenham’s under-23s.
His hopes of a Spurs career may be over, but there is a silver lining for the club and his family.

Maghoma’s younger brother Paris Maghoma is already starring for the under-18s, as he becomes the third player in his family to pass through Tottenham’s young system.
Jacques Maghoma left a decade ago and is playing for Birmingham City and Christian appears set to leave.
Teenage talent Paris Maghoma hopes to be the one who can finally break through.
He turned 17 a month ago, and made his debut for the under-18s at 16.

After scoring an excellent free-kick earlier this season, he was praised by head of development John McDermott.
He told the club’s website: “I was really pleased with Paris Maghoma – he was a difference-maker today, he took his opportunity and did really well with individual snippets of positive play.”
He is a midfielder, unlike his departing older brother, and while competition to break into the Tottenham’s first team is tougher than ever, his potential is reason for Spurs fans to be excited despite the imminent departure of one of their academy graduates.
