Tottenham look set to sign Richarlison and could hatch an agreement with the Premier League in order to help Everton’s financial situation.
Tottenham are looking for another attacker to give some support to Harry Kane.
Punts on the likes of Vincent Janssen, Fernando Llorente and Carlos Vinicius over the years haven’t really worked out for Tottenham.
Fabio Paratici has now decided that it’s time to pay big money for a striker to help Harry Kane ahead of Tottenham’s Champions League return.
Tottenham look set to sign Richarlison
It has been apparent for weeks now that Tottenham’s top striker target this summer is Everton hitman Richarlison.
There have been links to other strikers but few have really had the traction of Richarlison.
The Brazilian striker was one of Everton’s few shining lights last season as he recorded 10 goals in 30 Premier League games.
Tottenham have been chasing a deal for Richarlison, who fits perfectly at Spurs in terms of being a striker who can also move out wide and provide quality depth for Antonio Conte.
Everton are in financial trouble too and need to raise funds by the close of play today to avoid Premier League sanctions.
That wouldn’t give Tottenham much time to complete all the necessary components for Richarlison’s transfer.

Football London now claim that Tottenham could send proof of an agreement in principle for Richarlison to the Premier League.
As long as the deal is then completed within a few days, the transfer would count for the 2021-22 accounts – and ensure that Everton aren’t hit with heavy sanctions.
This sounds like the deal sheets we hear about in the transfer windows, though this is with the angle of a financial deadline rather than a transfer deadline.
Relations between Everton and Tottenham are thought to be strong and Richarlison’s move would seemingly only strengthen that despite his importance at Goodison Park.
The Athletic report that a deal worth £50million plus £10million in add-ons has now been agreed, which may well include proof being sent to the Premier League to help Everton’s situation.
It won’t be easy for Everton fans to say goodbye to Richarlison, but playing in the Champions League is something that the Brazilian just can’t refuse.
