Erik ten Hag faces Tottenham tonight and has shot down questions about whether he could have become Spurs boss.
Tottenham make the long trip north today as they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.
This is a big clash for both teams.
United are looking to prove their top-four credentials and will hope for a better attacking display than Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Newcastle United.
Tottenham need a statement win themselves after losing at Arsenal earlier this season and Antonio Conte would no doubt love to frustrate opposite number Ten Hag.

Erik ten Hag faces Tottenham tonight
The last time United boss Ten Hag took on Tottenham, it was in the Champions League semi-finals as Ajax boss back in 2019.
Tottenham famously roared back from 3-0 down on aggregate to draw 3-3 and dramatically reach the Champions League final.
Ten Hag will probably still have nightmares about that evening in Amsterdam but this night could have been very different.
Spurs actually looked into appointing Ten Hag as their new manager following Jose Mourinho’s exit in 2021.
The Mirror claim that Ten Hag held talks with Tottenham but Daniel Levy wasn’t convinced and ended up appointing Nuno Espirito Santo instead because he believed the Dutchman ‘didn’t have the right credentials’ for Spurs.
Ten Hag allegedly needed a big backroom team and Tottenham seemingly weren’t ready to meet his demands, leading to that ill-fated Nuno era.
Tottenham will of course be happy with Antonio Conte as their manager now but Nuno over Ten Hag seems like a very strange decision.
Ten Hag has a chance to show Tottenham what they’re missing tonight, but he isn’t being drawn on those Spurs rumours.
Speaking on Manchester United’s official website, Ten Hag claimed that he will ‘never’ talk about interest from other clubs as he simply doesn’t find it interesting.
Ten Hag is fully focused on United with Tottenham now in his sights when he could have been in the opposing dugout had things gone differently in 2021.
“I will never talk about interest or what else, it’s also not interesting. I’m here and I’m happy to be here and I want to get the best out of here,” said Ten Hag.
