Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have made a move for Fiorentina and Morocco international midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, a player Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are also interested in, according to a report in Viola News.
Tottenham make move for Liverpool target Sofyan Amrabat
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Tottenham have asked for information about Amrabat, who started for Morocco at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The 26-year-old midfielder was one of the best players in Qatar, as Morocco reached the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Amrabat has been linked with Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Liverpool as well.
The Daily Mail have reported that Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham United, Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid all are keen on the Morocco star, described as “absolutely magnificent” by Magpies legend Alan Shearer on BBC this month.

Could a January transfer happen?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool would be able to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina in the January transfer window.
Fiorentina could be tempted to cash in on the 26-year-old now when his stock is so high.
And the Serie A club would love a bidding war.
Amrabat himself could be tempted to move to the Premier League, and the chance to play for Tottenham or Liverpool could be too good to turn down.
