Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Napoli star Piotr Zielinski and have already made an enquiry for the midfielder Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes wants to play with, with, according to a report in Area Napoli.
The Italian news outlet have reported that Tottenham have enquired about signing the 28-year-old Poland international midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Spurs have been told to pay €50 million (£42.78 million) as transfer fee for Zielinski, according to the report.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte reportedly wanted to sign Zielinski for Inter Milan in the summer of 2019.
Should Tottenham Hotspur pay £43m for Piotr Zielinski?
In our opinion, if Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte really wants to sign Piotr Zielinski and believes that the Napoli midfielder would make his side better, then club chairman Daniel Levy should make a deal happen.
Or at least try to.

Yes, £43 million does sound a lot of money, but we have to note that Zielinski is 28 now and is in his prime.
In an ideal work, the midfielder would be able to make an instant impact at Tottenham if he gets a full pre-season with Conte.
Zielinski is rated very highly by Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who played with him at Italian club Udinese.
Fernandes said about Zielinski on Canal+ Sport in May 2021, as transcribed by HITC Sport at the time: “Technically, I can say that Zieliński is better trained than I am. We had a good challenge. I think in the past, Zieliński was actually a bit shy. He was really young then, just like me, at that time.
“I spoke to him a few months ago and told him that I would like to play with him again. So, who knows what the future has waiting for us. For me, he is a really, really top player.”
