Shakhtar Donetsk star Dodo has admitted he’s flattered to be linked with a big-money move to Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, talking to TNT Brazil.
During the past decade or so, Shakhtar have earned about £200 million by cashing in on players snapped up from Brazilian football before being sold on for a massive profit.
And after producing seven assists from right-back as The Miners won a fourth successive Ukrainian league title last season, the rampaging Dodo could be about to follow in the footsteps of Fernandinho, Fred, Willian and co.
According to Globo Esporte, Tottenham have made a £17 million bid for the jet-heeled 22-year-old.
Dodo is also on the radar of a Bayern Munich side forced to hand Josip Stanisic only a second Bundesliga appearance because of a paucity of options during Friday’s opening-day draw with Borussia Monchengladbach.

“Knowing the interest of big clubs is a source of great joy for me,” Dodo says.
“I have played at a high level for the last three years, with a good number of games, goals and assists.
“I believe the football I play has generated great interest and I am very happy about that. But I leave these matters to my agent to resolve.
“Nothing has come to me and my head is very still calm. I am very happy here at Shakhtar.
“If I leave one day, that is good for both parties. I will always have affection for the club.”
Reports suggesting Tottenham have offered £17 million for Dodo will raise yet more questions about the futures of Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty.
Doherty, of course, was sold by Nuno Espirito Santo at Wolves while the want–away Aurier was left out Spurs’ dramatic 1-0 triumph over Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday.
