Tottenham Hotspur want Denzel Dumfries but his form is now being slammed in Italy as the media there feel his value is declining rapidly.
Gazzetta dello Sport have published a feature on Dumfries and his disappointing form since the World Cup.
They suggest that Dumfries looked like one player in Qatar and now looks like a completely different player.
It’s noted that Dumfries has started from the bench in two Serie A games since the league resumed, slamming him for scoring an own goal against Monza even in just 10 minutes on the pitch.
Dumfries started against Parma on Tuesday but Gazzetta feel that he just isn’t playing well and if his form continues like this, his form could suffer.

It was suggested that Inter were open to selling Dumfries now and taking him back on loan, which could appeal to Tottenham.
Many players are still finding their feet after the World Cup and Dumfries appears to be one of them.
Tottenham surely won’t be put off by two or three poor games, and may even try to use it to their benefit by haggling his price down in any deal.
