Former Arsenal forward Charlie Nicholas has noticed a weakness in Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez’s game.
Davinson Sanchez has done exceptionally well for Tottenham Hotspur in his debut season in the Premier League, but there is always room for improvement, and he would be wise to listen to former Arsenal forward Charlie Nicholas.
Arsenal and Tottenham are bitter North London rivals, but Sanchez should still listen to Nicholas’s observation on his game and take it on board.
Speaking on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News this past Saturday afternoon (2:01pm, April 21, 2018), the former Arsenal forward said about Sanchez: “He has got pace, but I think sometimes he doesn’t see the danger quick enough to get himself into positions, and I think that’s just inexperience.”

Room for improvement
Sanchez has done very well since his move to Tottenham from Ajax in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £42 million.
However, there is always room for improvement, and given that the Colombia international centre-back is only 21 years of age, he can still develop and add more facets to his game.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has shown how much he is able to improve players and how much he enjoys working with talented youngsters.
If Sanchez continues to work hard in training and keeps his game in the Spurs first team, then he could become one of the best central defenders in the Premier League in a few years’ time.
