Kieran Trippier has seen his form for Tottenham Hotspur and England rewarded by FIFA.

Tottenham Hotspur star Kieran Trippier has been shortlisted for World Team of the Year.
The former Burnley right-back is on a 20-man list of defenders nominated for FIFA’s FIFPro World XI.
This comes on the back of a brilliant World Cup campaign for Trippier, with the Tottenham man, who scored in England’s semi-final defeat by Croatia, dazzling in Russia.

Belgium also reached the semi-final of the World Cup, but there was no room for Tottenham duo Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld on the shortlist of defenders, but Everton’s Yerry Mina, eliminated with Colombia in the round of 16 by England, is there.
Despite winning the competition, France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris does not join Trippier on the overall list, but striker Harry Kane, who won the tournament’s Golden Boot, was included.
Tottenham get back to Premier League duty this weekend by facing Liverpool.
