Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier has shared his admiration for Burnley manager Sean Dyche.

Trippier joined Burnley on loan in 2011-12, and then joined the Clarets permanently in 2012. He made 185 appearances for the club in all competitions, before joining Spurs in 2015.

The 27-year-old says that he has worked really hard to establish himself at where he is now. He moved down to the Championship, and worked his way back to the top level.

At Turf Moor, Sean Dyche has had a huge influence on the full-back. Trippier has praised Dyche’s man-management skills, and says that he has helped him a lot on and off the pitch.

Trippier adds that Dyche is a very demanding manager and the players work for him because of his honesty. He labels him as a “great all-round coach”, and a “great guy”.

Dyche has been doing wonders with Burnley this season, and in recent weeks has been linked with a move to Everton.

Trippier believes that Dyche can do well for a leading Premier League club if he gets the opportunity.

“He tightened the defence and his man-management is brilliant,” said Trippier, as quoted by The Times. “He helped me a lot on and off the field. He demands a lot and all his players at Burnley have been willing to work for him because of that honesty. He’s just a good all-round coach and a great guy.”
