There’s so much conflicting information about Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele at the moment.
The France international hasn’t had a good first season in North London following a £63 million move from Lyon last summer [Sky Sports].
Injury and a bit of inconsistent form has ensured that Ndombele has had a rather poor first year at Tottenham, in fact.
It has been reported in recent weeks that Barcelona are interested in him, while other outlets have claimed that Spurs boss Jose Mourinho believes that he can be a world beater.
But now a story from Bleacher Report says that the Lilywhites will look to move him on.
BR claim that Tottenham have ‘serious concerns’ over his attitude and that a sale is definitely on the agenda.
Chairman Daniel Levy could probably settle for a loss on their initial investment, but in this climate, breaking even and getting £63 million wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
Then again, there isn’t many clubs who have those funds available right now, amid the global health emergency.
It’s worth pointing out that this could be just another product of the rumour mill, but you could see Spurs’ hierarchy being genuinely unhappy with him and time will tell how reliable the stories are.
