The RB Leipzig man would most definitely improve the Tottenham Hotspur side.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Spurs enjoyed a successful Premier League campaign on the whole, despite narrowly missing out on Premier League glory, but Mauricio Pochettino will be under no illusions regarding the size of the task ahead of him this summer, as he looks to take his side one step further next season.
Tottenham have arguably the strongest first XI in the division, but it is their strength in depth that is questionable. Whilst the addition of sound squad players will be vital, they simply must go big, and attract some star names too, if they are to challenge for major honours.
If Pochettino is to sign someone to make a genuine difference to his first team options, he must make some big, bold moves this summer, and an ideal place to start would be with the signing of RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita.

The 22-year-old midfielder is wanted by Liverpool, and will command a transfer fee somewhere between £50-60 million, according to the Times.
Whilst that seems like an extortionate amount of money on the face of it, the vast amount of riches that Tottenham will receive from Champions League qualification and the new TV deal will make that figure easily attainable.
Keita is naturally a deep-lying midfielder, and has been compared to N’Golo Kante, with his high energy levels enabling him to get up and down the park for the duration of the 90 minutes.
He does, however, offer more going forward than Kante, as his record of eight goals and seven assists in 31 Bundesliga games this term goes to prove.
RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita
With Mousa Dembele’s persistent injury problems, and Eric Dier’s future with the Lilywhites far from certain, the addition of the powerful midfielder would most certainly be beneficial to Spurs’ title hopes next term.
With his superb engine, and commitment to the cause, he would be the ideal Pochettino signing, and would offer them more from both attacking and defensive perspectives.
Whether Daniel Levy would be prepared to lay out such a vast amount of money on one player is doubtful though, but it could be the kind of signing that would transcend Tottenham as a football club, and help them go that one step further next season.
