Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth suffered an injury last night.

Tottenham Hotspur have been reluctant to replace defender Kieran Trippier after selling him to Atletico Madrid.
The idea has been to convert Juan Foyth to right-back, but this plan now may have a hitch.
Foyth had to be carried off the pitch last night in Tottenham’s Audi Cup final clash with Bayern Munich.
It appeared he suffered an ankle injury, although he full diagnosis is not yet known.
What this could do, is force Tottenham into a re-think at the right-back position before the transfer deadline, depending on the severity of the injury.
Spurs already have Kyle Walker-Peters, but one option is to look again at the transfer window, for a player like Norwich’s Max Aarons.

If they decide against this, there is suddenly huge pressure on £24 million right-back Serge Aurier.
Aurier started only eight games last season in the Premier League for Spurs due to injury.
He has not been involved in pre-season at all after going to the African Nations Cup with Ivory Coast.
No offers have been received for Aurier, and Tottenham may now need him more than ever.
