Totttenham are keen to sign Pau Lopez on a permanent basis.
Spanish newspaper Sport this week reported that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign goalkeeper Pau Lopez permanently.
Lopez is on loan from Espanyol, where he was a regular for the La Liga side.
At Tottenham it has been very different for the 22-year-old, since signing in August he is yet to make a single appearance for the first team as a starter or a substitute.

While Spurs want to sign Lopez permanently, it is unclear at this stage whether the feeling is mutual and Lopez wants to stick around.
If he does, it will be a mightily impressive deal for Spurs to be able to pull off considering the circumstances.

As it stands he is third choice, and while he could elevate to a back-up if Michel Vorm leaves, he faces a huge task to unseat number one stopper and France international Hugo Lloris.
So to manage to convince Lopez to join will show just what an attractive club Tottenham are right now, to sway the goalkeeper into joining just to be a part of it, than taking a first choice gig elsewhere.
Lopez worked under Mauricio Pochettino at Espanyol, and is clearly held in high regard for the Argentine.
The goalkeeper may be playing the long game and hoping he can get his feet under the table and eventually unseat Lloris in three to four years time.
If so then it will demonstrate the pulling power Spurs currently have, and underline that players are willing to sacrifice short term success simply to be a part of the club’s exciting future.
