Tottenham youngster Kazaiah Sterling earned the praise of his coach

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Kazaiah Sterling strengthened his case for a first team call up at the weekend with a brace for the under-23s.
He is doing everything he can to get selected, and the comments of his under-23 coach will surely be music to manager Mauricio Pochettino’s ears.

Speaking after his latest goalscoring feat, Wayne Burnett picked out an aspect of Sterling’s game which will appeal to the Argentine.
Burnett told Tottenham’s official website: “The goals are coming for Kazaiah from his work ethic.
“He’s working incredibly hard, not only in games but he’s also showing determination and commitment in training – which we expect – and he’s been rewarded on the pitch tonight, so hopefully long may that continue.”
If there is one thing which has separated Tottenham superstar Harry Kane from his contemporaries then it too is his work ethic.
Stories of Kane staying late after training to hone his craft have become legendary around the club and have helped make him the player he is today.
Sterling appears to have taken note of that and is applying himself on and off the pitch.
This bodes well for Spurs and makes it even more likely that sooner or later Pochettino will ditch Llorente and give a shot to the youngster.
