Tottenham are finally kicking into gear in the final fortnight of the transfer window.

After a frustrating start to the summer, Tottenham Hotspur are finally stepping up their activity.
Right before the season began, Spurs looked like one of the window’s big losers as rivals strengthened and they weakened, selling Kyle Walker.
Now they are set to turn that narrative around with a prolific burst of transfer activity, providing it all comes off.
El Dia report Argentine centre-back Juan Foyth is close to a move – and L’Equipe claim Spurs are in advanced talks with PSG for Serge Aurier.
The icing on the cake is a reported move for Lazio forward Keita Balde.

The trio of defensive additions are excellent, and reinforce Tottenham’s strongest asset, but their attack has needed tweaking all summer.

Keita can be the unpredictable player they have lacked, an explosive forward capable of playing on the wing or filling in up front when Tottenham require a stand in for Harry Kane.
Vincent Janssen has not looked up to the task so far and Keita can play both alongside Kane and in his place. His 16 goals for Lazio last season showed a player capable of delivering at the top level.
If Tottenham can clinch a deal for Balde as part of a quadruple swoop for Sanchez, Foyth and Aurier then regardless of Walker’s departure, Spurs will emerge from the transfer window as one of it’s big winners.
