Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are keen to sign Real Madrid attacker, Marco Asensio, but AC Milan are determined to secure his signature this summer, according to a report.
The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is around the corner and football’s biggest stage always results in players wanting regular game time before the tournament begins.
Asensio is no different because he wants to play for a top European team on a regular basis ahead of Qatar, according to Calcio Mercato Web.

That’s why he is looking to head for the exit door at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and AC Milan waiting in the wings.
Plus, Real Madrid need to make a call on his future because he has one-year left to run, he either signs a new deal or they generate a transfer for his services.
In truth, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is sold because Carlo Ancelotti has a jam-packed squad to pick from following their Champions League triumph last time out.

WHO SHOULD ASENSIO SIGN FOR?
Well, the first remit is regular football and Asensio could argue that he could earn that more at AC Milan than at a place like Tottenham.
The 26-year-old can play across the front three, but he is better suited on the right, Spurs already have Dejan Kulusevski’s for that role and have just paid big bucks for Richarlison.
Then there’s Heung-min Son and Harry Kane always starting, not forgetting that someone like Lucas Moura is on the bench, so it’s hard to understand where Asensio would fit in.
It would be a different story at Chelsea because they are in a bit of a mess despite the signing of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
Asensio could probably get what he wants at Stamford Bridge, but that all depends on who heads for the exit door this summer because Thomas Tuchel isn’t a happy man following Chelsea’s 4-0 defeat to Arsenal in pre-season.
