Gianfranco Zola has claimed that the ‘big difference’ between Tottenham and Chelsea is that Thomas Tuchel’s mem can ‘produce such high quality in the last 20 meters’, as he told Premier League Productions.
The Chelsea legend shared that is something ‘Tottenham can’t do’ following their 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
For the fourth time this season, in all competitions, Spurs were beaten by their London rivals.
Two of those defeats came in the League Cup, whilst the other two have now occurred in the Premier League, with no reply from Spurs.
Antonio Conte’s men would have been disappointed with Harry Kane’s disallowed goal today, but overall, they were second-best.
Chelsea legend Zola shared his blunt, yet brutal verdict on Spurs compared to their neighbours after another defeat.
“I think that was the difference,” said Zola. “The big difference. Chelsea could produce such high quality in the last 20 meters.
“But that’s something that Tottenham can’t do. And it has been the big difference.”

Whilst Tottenham were jumping with joy in midweek after their quite stunning comeback against Leicester.
That wasn’t the case at the Bridge, as they lost valuable points in the race to finish in the top four.
Spurs do have games in hand on those teams above them, but they still have to get something from those matches in order to gain control of those Champions League places.
One thing is for sure, it’s not going to be an easy task for Conte, who will be keen on the club to add quality in the transfer market, so he is helped in this fight for fourth.
